After dedicating more than 10 years in education as a Counselor, Program Coordinator, and Project Manager, Raymi Faria, a lifelong wellness warrior, was thrilled to join the Blue Zones Project team in 2016 as the Community Engagement Lead for Koolaupoko. Encouraging well-being and empowering others to live their best, most-fulfilled life was a purpose she served as an educator and continues with Blue Zones Project. Along her professional career she developed a knack for strategic planning, managing websites, writing and editing content, and designing collateral, which led her to assume the Statewide Marketing Coordinator position on the state team. Raymi earned a B.A. in Education Psychology from University of Hawaii at Manoa and a M.A. in Counseling Psychology from University of San Francisco. She is also a recently certified 200HR registered yoga instructor in power vinyasa. When she’s not at work or on her yoga mat, she enjoys leisure walks with her husband and their dogs Sadie and Sepia, savoring a glass of red wine with friends, and experimenting with mostly plant-based recipes in the kitchen.
