Molliane Gotter is the Organizational Lead for the 4M community of Manoa, Makiki, McCully, and Moiliili on Oahu. She received her B.S. in International Affairs from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and served 10 years as an active duty officer specializing in Emergency Management and Contingency Planning. During her time in the military, she also earned her MBA in Management, Master Exercise Practitioner Program (MEPP) Certification through FEMA, and responded to the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill in 2010. Living in Hawaii is a dream come true for Molliane, and she believes the Blue Zones Project provides a unique and exciting opportunity to empower people and communities to become healthier and happier together. In the pursuit of better work-life balance, Molliane found a deep community connection through yoga. She is a 200-hr RYT certified yoga teacher and has been teaching yoga classes on Oahu for over four years. Most recently, Molliane earned her Culinary Arts Degree from Kapiolani Community College and has found that friends, yoga, and good food really do make the world go-round. She considers herself a devoted auntie, Pure Barre enthusiast, and loves “beaching” herself at Kaimanas for a little sunshine and salt water.
