Born and raised in Kailua, Oahu, Lee-Ann has called Kailua-Kona her home for the past 16 years. She joins the Blue Zones Project ohana as the Organization Lead in West Hawaii. Lee-Ann is passionate about organizational leadership and performance which guides positive transformational change to elevate the potential of individuals and leaders in Hawaii communities. Lee-Ann has made positive contributions toward shaping performance excellence of individuals and organizations for over two decades.  Lee-Ann is excited to be part of a well-being community initiative that is grounded in educational, health, and environmental based practices. Lee-Ann graduated from St. Mary’s College of California with a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication, a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and later completed her Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership degree from the University of Phoenix School of Advanced Studies. Prior to working with Blue Zones Project, Lee-Ann held leadership roles on the National Training team at DeVry University, the Domestic Admissions team at Wells College and the International Recruitment team at Hawaii Pacific University. Lee-Ann played an integral part in co-founding a private healthcare practice in West Hawaii where she oversaw business development, employee onboarding, team development and organizational performance. Lee-Ann also worked for the Hawaii County Department of Research and Development where she co-created an Entrepreneurship Program which provided small business owners with a learning platform for leading others and learning best practices which support the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Lee-Ann is committed to helping individuals and communities throughout Hawaii County live happy, healthier lives by sharing the lifestyle principles of the Power 9. During her free time, loves to cook, hike, and read.  She also loves to spend time with her children– Payton, Stanley, and Blair.
