Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Kelsie moved to Hawaii in 2010 to chase a childhood dream of working with marine mammals through an internship at Sea Life Park in Waimanalo. Upon realizing her love of island-life, she decided to call Hawaii home permanently in 2013. Kelsie then joined the Healthways Hawaii team as a Well-Being Consultant, providing her the opportunity to support employers in creating happier and more engaged work places across the state. Kelsie graduated from Allegheny College with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts and later got her master’s degree in Wellness and Lifestyle Management at Rowan University. After working for multiple years with worksites across Hawaii, Kelsie decided to join the Blue Zones Project national team as a Senior Consultant, providing her the opportunity to work closely with Blue Zones Project communities nation-wide.  After supporting the addition of five new Blue Zones Project communities in Hawaii throughout 2017, she decided to join the Hawaii State Team as the Worksite Manager, combining her background with worksite wellness programs and her passion in making Hawaii a happier and healthier place to live. In her free time, Kelsie fully appreciates the sunshine in Hawaii by spending her time hiking or at the beach!
