Born and raised in Honolulu, Cynthia has a love for meeting and empowering people in any environment. She graduated from Occidental College in Los Angeles with a degree in Economics for Business Management. Her early work in non-profits related to child and family services. Cynthia became a marketing associate for CPO Commerce, Inc. Magazine 500 fastest growing companies and later was a business consultant in Chennai, India. She has lived with the orphans in Mozambique, Africa. An active community volunteer, Cynthia is a strong advocate for causes related to policy and community well-being. Cynthia joins the Blue Zones Project after serving the Wahiawa community as the Chief of Staff to former State House Representative Marcus R. Oshiro. Currently, she engages the public on health and wellness in Wahiawa as the Engagement Lead.
